1) Sign Up and Accept the Agreement



The first step is to sign up for a Google account if you don’t already have one. Once you have a Google account, you can access the Google My Business page. Next, click Start Now and agree to the terms and conditions. Now you’re ready to begin adding your business information!

2) Getting Started Section

3) Add your first API



You can add your first API by following these simple steps: 


  • Go to the Google API Console. 
  • Create a new project. 
  • Click Enable and manage APIs. 
  • Search for the API you want to enable and click Enable.

4) Generate API Key for Web Service Calls



In order to use the Google Places API, you must first generate an API key. This key will be used to authenticate your requests to the API. You can generate a new key by following these steps: 



  • Go to the Google API Console. 
  • Create a new project or select an existing one. 
  • Click on the Enable APIs and Services button. 
  • Search for Google Places API and enable it.



5) Add your API key in the app



You'll need a Google Maps API key to add maps to your Android app. To get one, follow these steps: 



  • Go to the Google Cloud Platform Console. 
  • Create or select a project. 
  • Click Continue to enable the API and any related services. 
  • On the Credentials page, click Create credentials > API key. 
  • Copy your new API key and paste it into the app.




6) Your Android APK file is complete!



  1. Before you can publish your app on the Google Play store, you need to create a developer account. 
  2. Once you have a developer account, you can sign in to the Google Play Console and submit your APK file. 
  3. In order to list your app on Google, you'll need to fill out some information about your business and agree to the Developer Distribution Agreement. 
  4. After your app is approved, you can start promoting it!




7) Publish your APK file to the Developer Console



You can either upload your APK or use the Developer Console to generate one for you. Once you have your APK file, sign in to your Developer Console and navigate to All Applications. Select Add new application, then click Upload APK to upload your APK.
