We donate these books to schools and public libraries throughout the USA and Canada. Recently, we have purchased "soft cover" versions of his books to send to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, who can tuck the soft cover books into their backpacks. We also are sending books to the hospitals, convoy depots and individual military units. Since October of 2007, we have shipped 689 books to 40 locations throughout the USA, Canada, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Book Gifting Program is doing very well, and we want to share our success with you. We ask you to remember that the proceeds from our annual auction at the Gathers is the only source of revenue we have allocated to purchase these books for donations. So even if you are not attending the Gather in Elko, Nevada this year, please consider sending an item to be used for the auction and please indicate the value of your item(s). Your donation to the auction is tax deductible too! We will provide instructions where you can send your donated auction items at a later date. Of course cash donations are always welcome as well.

Our fundraiser auction held at the 2009 Gather in Hardin, Montana on September 18th, brought us an excess of $6,675. for our book gifting program. Thanks to all of you who particiapted. There will be lots of happy kids with new books to enjoy.
