We need YOUR help in Medicine Hat!

The Will James Society ‘Book Gifting Program’ is entirely dependent on the proceeds realized from the annual Awards Banquet and Auction. The Medicine Hat Planning Committee has begun collecting suitable items for the auction. We urge you to consider being a donor to this very worth while segment of the 2007 Gather. Artworks, a piece of western jewelry, leatherwork, cowboy collectibles, a vintage book or photo…all would be items that we would appreciate adding to our ‘wish list.’

We hope to gather at least 75-100 objects for the auction. Can you help fill the list? It would be a wonderful way to give back to the legacy of Will James by providing his books to schools and libraries all across the United States and Canada.

Please Note: Items sent (or brought into Canada with you) can be declared as “gifts” (i.e. items to be left in Canada) and are duty-free up to a declared maximum of $60.00 (Canadian funds). If over that amount, a small tax is assessed.

If you are attending the 2007 Gather & Cowboy Festival, you may wish to bring your donated item(s) with you; however, please advise our committee before hand so that we can inventory your donation on our list.
